Congregational Hymn: Faith of Our Fathers

Ministry Highlights:

Today, Saint James celebrates all Fathers and Men on our annual Father's Day/Manhood Sunday 2017. Saint James thanks God for all the fathers and men of our church family. We wish them a very "Happy Father's Day/Manhood Sunday 2017."

Pastor Slaughter and the First Family would like to express their profound thanks to the Sixth Pastoral Anniversary Committee for their creativity, patience, sacrifice, and love in planning the anniversary celebrations. Pastor Slaughter also thanks the entire Saint James Family for the overwhelming way you have expressed your love to him for the ministry God has blessed him to provide the past six years.  Your kindness will never be forgotten or taken for granted!  Pastor prays that God blesses everyone exceedingly and abundantly for what they have sown into his life and family.

Pastor Slaughter sincerely thanks the Ushers, the United Voices of Praise, and the Saint James Family that joined him on this past Wednesday at Abyssinian Baptist Church for Pastor Perry Simmons’ Retirement Revival. You are truly the greatest people on the planet!

Saint James will begin its “Summer Dressy Casual” attire next Sunday, June 25, 2017, through the first Sunday of September.

The first year of Saint James "Dirt to Destiny" Capital Campaign, ended on January 31, 2017. The Campaign experienced phenomenal success. Saint James was able to raise 95% of its first- year capital campaign goal. Year Two has officially started. Pastor Slaughter is strongly encouraging all members to make a pledge for the 2017 capital campaign. If you can pledge $5, $10, $15, $20 a week or per month, it will help the capital campaign tremendously. If you need a pledge card, please look in the back of your pew, contact the church office or complete the form online at www.experiencesaintjames.com. If you made a pledge in 2016 and desire to continue with that pledge, there is no need to fill out another pledge card. If you desire to increase the amount you gave in 2016, please fill out another pledge card and turn it in during any offering moment. When making contributions to the capital campaign, please write it on your envelope or on the designated line of your envelope. Remember Acts 5:39. We believe God!
