Sis. Janelle Greene
The Women's Ministry is focused on gathering women of Christ who are seeking and reaching God's will, under the leadership of the Minister to Women, Janelle Y. Greene. We promote sisterhood among the women of Saint James through biblical teaching, worship, activities, dialogue and fellowship. This will help bond us as we journey to become the women of Christ that God created us to be. We are God's women of faith, worship and intention. Please "like" and refer to the Women's Ministry Facebook page for upcoming events, resouraces and spiritual recreation.

Saint James Marriage Ministry serves to enrich and strengthen the lives of married couples. We have counseled dating and engaged couples as well. Our partnership with Family Dynamic Institute allowed us to participate in community marriage workshops.

Christian single men and women, coming together via social outings, participation in lectures on relationships and marriage, bible study and outreach programs, in an effort to draw closer to God, and receive all God has for us, while being a blessing to others. This ministry is open to all singles, both male and female.
Precious Gems Ministry
Sis. Daphne Gaters
The Precious Gems Ministry is committed to saying "Thank You" to our senior population for the time, talent and tithes that they have contributed to Saint James down through the years. We do this by paying half-price for their breakfasts and dinners on the second and fourth Sundays of the month.
Sis. Keisha Spencer
As a ministry we want to equip young people with the proper tools to combat every day issues, recognize knowledge is power and enjoy life while keeping God first in all areas of their lives.
We want to do this through a 3 Prong approach.
- Jesus is the Center
- Education (college, health, government, career, etc.)
- Fun activities
Secret Pal Ministry
Sis. Ann Thornhill
The purpose of the Secret Pal Ministry is to demonstrate tangible acts of love and appreciation to the senior members of St. James A.M.E. Church through the generosity of the membership. The organization's vision is to keep our seniors encouraged and reminded that they are an integral part of the St. James Family. All acts of kindness are given anonymously until our culminating event, the annual luncheon, when the Secret Pal is revealed to his/her senior.
